Things of faith in the spirit versus things in the soul and mind of man must be discerned by the body of Christ in order to reach the next level of glory in the church. The spirit of man consists of many things; that is, conscience, intuition, affections, and communion which are all interrelated with the things of the soul; that is, mind, will, emotions, imaginations, and intellect; which are interrelated with the things of the body; that is, flesh and blood. Adam or mankind was in right relationship with God when the first Adam sinned through disobedience that brought forth sin which brought forth death. Death worked throughout Adam and his progeny in all things; that is, spirit, soul, and body. Adam then became a sensual creature knowing good and evil as gods or “elohim” with the spirit of man darkened in all areas which darkness came into to his soul which ultimately manifested itself in his flesh as he died a physical death due to his spirit and soul being alienated from God. Adam now knew that he was naked which marked him as a natural man rather than a spiritual man. The fall of Adam placed all his progeny of mankind as of the dust, with a spirit without the light of God manifesting in his soul with his thinking and imaginations of the world rendering death to the whole man and mankind. Adam became a sensual creature with the flow of knowledge coming from the body going to his soul which then filled his spirit. All things of the first Adam and all those that are in the first Adam are death without the light of the knowledge of God.

There is the true Light that lighteth every man that comes into the world, Jesus Christ the life. The life is the light of men because it lights not the flesh or sensual man, but Jesus Christ lights the candle of man which is his spirit which flows to his mind and ultimately to his body of flesh and blood. Mankind receives the life of Jesus that lights his whole being through the eye of perception and knowledge, comprehending the light of God. The light of the body is the eye. When the eye’s single focus is upon Jesus and His work, then the whole body is full of light with men hungering and thirsting after righteousness. The result is that man’s spirit is full of light in relation to the present truth as the proceeding Word of God is comprehended in his knowledge held in his spirit of revelation. The man’s spirit is then full of light with faith held in his intuition and knowledge of the truth being in communion and fellowship with God.

The mind of the spirit called affection is the motivational compelling force within his spirit that will experience an insatiable thirst for the things of God. The cause and effect of the cross of Jesus causes the believer to always strive to enter in the strait gate and narrow way for the deeper things of God, revealing and realizing greater truths and levels of glory in growth of the individual believer. The works of Jesus are manifested in the kingdom of God by the believer’s testimony or witness accompanied by works of faith; thus, revealing Jesus to the world. The constant thirst for righteousness has the promise of being filled with truth. Righteousness is the work of God through the believer taking the cross of Jesus in losing their lives for the Gospel’s sake; thus, finding life through the crucified life. The humble, broken, and contrite spirit of man manifests the godliness or the god life to the world which can only be accomplished by God through the believer in denying self in order to manifest Jesus as the Light.

Conscience is things learned with (con-) science (nature and principle of things that determines the feeling of right and wrong, the moral sense) that are held in the human spirit. The conscience also bears witness with the Spirit of God that helps the individual believer to know and to bear witness of the truth, the conscience bearing witness. The driving force for truth is the Word of God that is experienced by the believer as proceeding Word which Paul calls the sword of the Spirit. The loins of the believer are girded with “Logos”, while the sword of the Spirit is “Rhema”. The “Rhema” as “Logos” experienced is witnessed also by the believer’s conscience as to truth. When the Word is stagnated in the believer’s life, then the “Rhema” as the sword of the Spirit becomes dull and the believer becomes dull of hearing, their eye of understanding becomes darkened ever so subtle. We understand the story of the frog in hot water. Things that the believer would never allow if suddenly confronted with are approved by the conscience by the subtlety of the ever increasing error in the Logos which stymies the “Rhema”. Take heed how you hear, for the same measure that you meet will be measured to you again. To him that hath shall be given and he will have the more revelation of the Word, but to him that hath not, shall be taken away, even that Word of revelation that he has. It is very dangerous ground to become complacent with what we have learned and experienced in the past, as God is always doing something new in our lives in relation to His Word.

Intuition is knowledge acquired outside of the human intellect of the soul and is found in the spirit of man where faith is held. Intuition is “knowing that you know” through maturity or perfection, being able to discern between the commandments of God and those of men; between the righteous and the ungodly; between the true Word of God and the tradition of the elders. Faith grows in the intuition by hearing or understanding the Word of God and then God tries this new level of faith; then when faith is tried and believed, it is held as a deeper faith than before in the intuition of the spirit of man. When the believers are weaned from the milk of repentance from dead works, of faith toward God that He is God, the doctrine of baptism according to Acts 2:38, the doctrine of laying of hands, of the resurrection, and eternal judgment; they then go on unto perfection, having their spiritual senses exercised by faith accompanied by works in being able to discern good from evil. It is these works that the Lord Jesus will judge the last day church by in coming to the perfect man and stature of Jesus Christ.

The works of faith that accompany salvation prove that the believer knows Jesus in truth, manifesting Jesus to a lost and dying world. But if the eye is evil, not comprehending present truth as to the proceeding Word of God, then the whole body is darkness, not part light and part darkness. When that which is perfect is come, ready of not, Jesus comes; not as it were in Pentecost, but Tabernacles, with the fullness of glory manifested in the believer in Passover, Pentecost, and Tabernacles, to a fullness of glory brought about by the Light. Whoever walks in the light as Jesus is in the light has fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus cleanses that individual believer from second to second, minute by minute, from all unrighteousness. The believer must carry the blood stained banner of the cross in order to fulfill the righteousness of God in the earth. No one can be a witness of Jesus except by the cross of Jesus Christ, the believer always delivered unto death that the life of our Lord Jesus Christ might be made manifest in our mortal bodies.

How does this light of God shine? Paul states it nicely, “But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.”  (2 Corinthians 4:3,4). Paul preached that Jesus Christ is the Lord Jehovah, God Almighty. Notice the One God doctrine of Paul here: “For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.” (2 Corinthians 4:5). Jesus is the Word of God as stated by John in the Revelation of Jesus Christ. The Word must be held to be what it is in reality; that is, the Word of God, from Genesis to Revelation; that is, Jesus. This is not just Acts 2:38 for salvation, but the whole book is Jesus who is our salvation; the way, the truth, and the life which is the Light.

God shines this light in our hearts, our human spirit, which flows outward to our souls, then manifests in our mortal bodies. Notice how this relates to glory, for the believer must pass from glory to glory unto the fullness of the image of Jesus Christ, unto a perfect man…nothing less will enter into the kingdom of heaven. Many are in the kingdom of God having the Holy Ghost, but all must come to full maturity unto a perfect man in order to enter into the kingdom of heaven. Not every one that says to Jesus “Lord, Lord” will be able to enter in, but those that do the will of God. To reiterate; not all oneness Apostolic Pentecostals who believe that Jesus is the Father or Jehovah Lord will be able to enter into the kingdom of heaven, but only those that do the will of God. The Light will lead us all into the truth by the Holy Ghost shining in our hearts and illuminating our spirits.

The will of God is shown to us by the life of Jesus being the Light that shines brighter and brighter unto the perfect day, until the daystar arises in our hearts. As present truth in depth is revealed, the individual believer must walk in this light in order to possess the kingdom. If the individual believer is stagnated, being settled on their lees believing that they have “the truth”, then God will punish all those that are settled on their lees. Here is a bit of discernment for the believer as to anyone who proclaims to know “the truth”, intimating that they know all the truth that is necessary for salvation; that is, that perfection is not necessary for one’s salvation. Notice the Word of the Lord: “Who is blind, but my servant? Or deaf, as my messenger that I sent? Who is blind as he that is perfect, and blind as the LORD’S servant? Seeing many things, but thou observest not; opening the ears, but he heareth not.” ((Isaiah 42:19,20). Anyone tells you that they are perfect and have arrived in God as some great one, then that individual seeks their own glory and is unrighteous.

The believer must possess the promises by faith unto the end in order to enter the kingdom of heaven. It is a perfection Gospel; nothing less will do! When the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? “For God who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” (2 Corinthians 4:6). The face of Jesus Christ is depicted in Solomon’s Temple, in the Ark of the Covenant, the cherubim of glory as the eyes, the 5 steps of the Most Holy Place as the neck. The eyes are the windows to the soul, the same as the cherubim of glory of the mercy seat are the eyes of the man Jesus in the Son of man revelation to the church. Jesus will present Himself to Himself, a glorious church without spot or wrinkle.

You might ask, “If God is light, why does He dwell in darkness?” God dwells in the darkness, in the cloud, simply due to the truth that man cannot comprehend all the light of God as it is infinite and is eternity. Life is infinite with no beginning and no end, symbolized in the circle or circuit and cycle of seasons. The circuit of Galilee is the circle or wheel that Jesus walked in the days of his flesh, the same as the wheel of God will do in judgment when light is manifested in all the earth being filled with the glory of the Lord. The true Word of God in statutes, commandments, and precepts of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus must be taught in order for the body of Christ to be in light. (Psalms 19:8). If we as ministers err, then the church as the body of Christ because of these damnable heresies will cause thine eye to be darkness, and how great is that darkness! When the ministers of God do not speak of themselves, but speak of Him that sent him, there is no unrighteousness in them.

“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power.” (Ephesians 1:17-19). There is a great effectual working of the Holy Ghost is your life that passes all knowledge in the earthly realm; God enlightening your eyes of understanding concerning His glory that is in you, and the greater glory that is to be revealed in you in these last days.

God loves you and works in you according to his own will and purpose, working salvation in and of Himself through you. Therefore, in all things, give thanks to the Lord Jesus, for this is the will of God for you. He knows what He is doing, even when we are depressed, down and out, or doubt anything will happen in our life for the glory of God. God will bring it to pass according to His will and purpose. “Lo, all these things worketh God oftentimes with man, To bring back his soul from the pit, to be enlightened with the light of the living.” (Job 33:29,30). Wherefore, lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees; And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore, lift up your eyes, for your salvation draweth nigh!
