The Son of man is the favorite title Jesus used of Himself some 82 times and is the most ambiguous of all the offices of the Spirit. "Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?" (Matthew 16:15b). Jesus is definitely referring to Himself as the Son of man in the above scripture, even though most of the time Jesus referred to the Son of man in the third person. Most scholars simply say that Son of man is an office of Jesus referring to Him being a man of flesh and blood like all humanity. While this is a true statement, there is much more that pertains to the office of the Son of man.

The Father as the Administrative office of the Spirit does not judge. "For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son." (John 5:22). The office of Judgment is the Son of man. "And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man." (John 5:27). The Son of man is the bedrock of the church of God. "And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God." (Matthew 16:16). The Son of man is the Christ as the Son of God. "And I say unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." (Matthew 16:18). The bedrock of the church is the Son of man office of the Spirit which is the same as the Christ, the Son of God. But the judgment office is the Son of man as stated above.

The Son of man is the kingdom of God. "Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom." (Matthew 16:28). This is the Spirit form of Jesus as the Holy Ghost that was given to believers on the day of Pentecost. "For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteous, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost."     (Romans 14:17).

The Son of man would be lifted up on the cross and die, then be resurrected from the dead as the firstbegotten or firstfruits from the dead. When Jesus is begotten from the dead with death having no more dominion over him, he becomes the Federal head of the Kingdom of God that is to be set in all the earth. One of the greatest themes of the Son of man is seen in this scripture. "I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed." (Daniel 7:13)

The Son of man is the Kingdom of God that will be in the earth with all nations serving Jesus only. The Son of man office takes in not only Passover, Unleavened Bread, Firstfruits, Pentecost; but also the Feast of Trumpets, Day of Atonement, and the Feast of Tabernacles. Most people believe that Acts 2:38 with becoming filled with the Holy Ghost is all there is to salvation, but we must go on from Pentecost to Tabernacles; from Pentecostals to Tabernaclists. Jesus said that you must eat the flesh of the Son of man and to drink his blood in order to have life. Jesus is telling us that we must follow all the way into the Kingdom of God, not stopping at Pentecost, as great as Pentecost is. But we must all go on unto perfection, unto a perfect man....this man is the Son of man. This Son of man is the Head of the church as the body of Christ that must enter in within the vail in the Season of Tabernacles, coming to the state of perfection, without spot or blemish as a perfect bride of Christ.  There is much to be said of the work of God in these last days through the church as His body being in Christ as like the Son of man; the four faced man of the cherubim as the church bearing the power and revelation of his glorious name JESUS.
