The Northern Army

"And how shall they preach, except they be sent?" Romans 10:15a
|
One of the greatest instruments in the Lord Jesus’ hand in the last day work of God is the northern army. One must understand the work of the cross in the believers’ lives in order to understand the work of God in the last days before He appears. I recommend reading the “The Believer’s Cross” before they read this article as a foundation of understanding this rod of God. Many prophecy preachers attempt to name nations according to current events in discerning the Word of God. The end result is always error since the Holy Ghost is the only One that can lead the body of Christ into the truth and work of God. Believers at present day are working to earn money, taking care of business, meeting the cares of this world, paying house payments, car payments, furniture payments, etc. It is the writer’s opinion that these believers must get out of debt in order to please the Lord in the last day work of God; “Owe no man any thing, but to love one another; for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.” (Romans 13:8). For the borrower is servant to the lender. For this reason, the LORD Jesus will do a work using he northern army as a catalyst for the body of Christ to press into the kingdom of God and ultimately to receive the kingdom of heaven. The first reason for the northern army to come up on the land oppressing the Christians is to bring the church back to her first love and go on unto perfection. The church must bring forth the fruits of the Spirit which is primarily charity unto perfection of the church. Take a look at the primary reason for the north and south winds in the last days.
In the coming of the Lord in the body of Christ to be glorified in the saints of the Most High, the northern army is a primary key in the work of God in turning the church back to God with whole heart and soul. We will look at the reason for the northern army in the work of God before we turn to identifying the northern army according to the Word of God. Joel refers to this northern army as the nation that has come upon the people of God in the last days that will lay the church waste, turning the church back to deep prayer in seeking the truth and will of God in meeting her husband. The church in the last days is referred to as being drunk, the new wine being cut off from the body of Christ. It is referred to as the Laodicean church in the Book of the Revelation written by John. The last church age before the appearing of Jesus Christ believes that she has everything, yet is void of the things of God. The present day church believes that she has all the truth in salvation and that the things concerning the work of God in glorification of the body of Christ is a non-essential in regards to salvation. This could not be farther from the truth. Therefore, the Lord Jesus will proceed to do a work in saving his bride and presenting her blameless, without spot and without wrinkle, perfect in all her ways at his coming.
In going from the season of Pentecost into the season of Tabernacles, the church has to go from one glory of Pentecost to yet another glory in Tabernacles. The present day church has various ideas of Jesus and few consider the work of God in these last days as it pertains to the glorification of the church. Something has to be done by the Lord in order to wake the church up from its sleep and drunkenness. This is exactly what the Lord will accomplish with His army from the north in turning the body of Christ back to him in deeper truth. Certainly, Passover is truth in the death of Jesus Christ as our Passover sacrificed for us. The body of Christ enters into the Feast of Passover by Repentance. Then the Feast of Unleavened Bread follows as Jesus was buried. The church enters into this feasting with the Lord, eating his flesh and drinking his blood, being buried with Jesus by Baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, taking on his name. The next successive feast is the Feast of Firstfruits which is Jesus’ resurrection. The body of Christ enters into this feast of Jesus’ resurrection by being raised out of the baptismal waters into newness of life, becoming a new creature in Christ. Is this all there is to salvation? The answer is no as we look to the other requirement in eating Jesus’ flesh and drinking his blood in order to have life and not back up on the Word of God. The next Feast is the Feast of Weeks which is the offering of the wave sheaves before God with leaven. Jesus gave His Spirit on the day of Pentecost, and the church received the Holy Ghost with the outward evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gave the utterance. We have this treasure in earthen vessels even though all have sinned and come short of the glory of God having leaven. The process begins of sanctification is dying to self in order to do the will of God which is necessary for ones salvation. Are these four feasts all that is necessary for the salvation of the church? No, for there remains three more feasts in order for the body of Christ to come to perfection in Jesus Christ, unto the measure of the fullness of the stature of Jesus Christ. The fifth Feast is the Feast of Trumpets. This is the ministry voice of Jesus that must be proclaimed to the entire world, for a witness to all nations before the end comes. This is where the northern army is revealed in the earth. Notice Figure 1 below as it pertains to the work of God in perfecting the body of Christ in coming into the full glory of Jesus Christ, being conformed to the exact same image. It is at the same time of the full ministry voice of Jesus in the new thing of the manchild being born and caught up to God’s throne in power in preaching Jesus to the whole world as a testimony and witness. These are the ones that keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ, doing the same works that Jesus did; thus, fulfilling the week of Jesus in a full seven year testimony in the works of God proclaiming the kingdom of God being present in the earth. Jesus in the days of His flesh fulfilled the first 3½ years being cut off in the midst of the week, and who shall declare his generation? The church as the body of Christ will be the 42nd generation that will be counted for the seed and will declare Jesus in the full revelation of Jesus Christ to the world as a witness to all nations before the end comes; thus, fulfilling the week or 7 years of testimony of Jesus Christ.
The church will not be referred to as Pentecostal, but rather Tabernaclists, since they will experience these events of Jesus in the season of Tabernacles rather than Pentecost. We do not want to go back to the days of Azuza Street, but we must go onward to the season of Tabernacles. Anyone who refers to the good old days does not speak wisely as to the work and plan of Jesus Christ in glorifying his body unto the full measure of his stature; with the bride of Christ coming to full perfection in glorification. It is in the fourth Feast of the Lord Jesus, in the Feast of Trumpets that we find the northern army coming against the church. It is always the work of the cross in self denial and sufferings for Jesus that the church has its consolation in the works and glory of Jesus Christ. No sufferings, no reigning with Jesus; no cross, no glory. Hosea had a good understanding of the works of the cross in the believers’ lives.
This will bring out the remnant as the “Tabernaclists” from the unbelieving “Pentecostals” who will not believe or go on with the Lord Jesus in all seven Feasts that are necessary for salvation of the body of Christ in coming to the full glory of Jesus Christ. Yes, this is a message of perfection; and nothing short of this is going to be saved in the last season of the Lord Jesus coming to pass in the last days. The Assyrian and the Babylonian captivities were indicative of this last day army that God will use in upsetting the apple carts of lukewarm believers in following on to know the Lord and his work. Daniel speaks of a time when the abomination that maketh desolate is set up in the holy place because of transgression; the transgression of desolation. The church is desolated by transgression of the Word of God; the devil is not just in the pews my friend, but is behind the pulpit in belying the Word of God. The reason of transgression is why God gives a host as the Southern army; that casts down truth to the ground, and it practices and prospers against the church for a season. (Daniel 8:12). This wind destroys many by preaching peace, when there is no peace; but rather a sword reaches unto the soul. (Daniel 8:25). It is a time that God will send strong delusion that all that do not love all the truth, not just a part of the truth, shall be damned, because they received not the love of the truth that they might be saved. The northern army is the delusion, the wind that blows from the north, the doctrines of devils working miracles to deceive all those that do not follow on to the depth of the truth. For those that are wise digged deep and built their house upon the rock, they were not shallow disannulling the work of God. The prophet Jeremiah knew the deception would be to the people of Jerusalem, the church of the last days that do not follow on to know Him in person and work. This is the spoiler of the Gentiles that will trodden down Jerusalem for 42 months, 3 ½ years, a thousand two hundred and threescore days (1,260days) which is the great tribulation in the Feast of Trumpets. This is the northern army. Speaking of the delusion in the last days, consider the following scriptures.
The northern army will be the greatest threat to those who say they love God, but in their works, they deny him. Jeremiah was much pained and troubled over the news.
Look at the trumpets in the Feasts of Trumpets. “O ye children of Benjamin, gather yourselves to flee out of the midst of Jerusalem, and blow the trumpet in Tekoa, and set up a sign of fire in Beth-haccerem: for evil appeareth out of the north, and great destruction.” (Jeremiah 6:1). It is the northern army that pollutes the sanctuary of strength, and takes away the daily sacrifice which alludes to the truth of Jesus Christ being polluted by false preaching in preachers behind pulpits who deny the Word and Work of God in these last days. The reason for this judgment beginning at the house of God as the church and body of Jesus Christ is that some shall fall, to try the church and to make them white, even to the time of the end. These are the ones that will seal their testimony with their own blood. The northern army as the north wind will certainly blow upon the church as the garden of God in order that the sweet spices of prayer and worship may flow out. The northern and southern winds will cause fruits to flourish in the church when Jesus is manifested in and through the church as his body. Just as Jesus suffered in the flesh, we are to arm ourselves likewise with the same mind; for he that hath suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin. Judgment will be laid to the line and righteousness to the plummet in measuring the church to be exactly like Jesus. “And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two month, And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.” (Revelation 11:1,2). The temple of God is the church with the sanctuary and the Most Holy Place. The outer court is the place of the altar of burnt offering and the laver. Those that do not enter into the full glory of Jesus will be cast out not bringing forth fruits unto perfection, but fall away in the time of trouble and tribulation for Jesus’ name sake. Jeremiah is the prophet to the nations. That which has been shall be, and that which is, shall be done. This is Jesus Christ, which was, which is, and which is to come, the Almighty. The revelation of Jesus Christ will be revealed by his work in the last days that He alone is God, the Almighty LORD God Jehovah. The first vision to Jeremiah concerning the nations is as follows.
Many state that this only applies to natural Jerusalem, not knowing that the church will be the only entity that will experience all seven feasts of the LORD Jesus. Natural Israel shall be saved by the church preaching unto her by the grace of God the seven Feasts of the LORD that one must eat and drink of the flesh and blood of Jesus. Natural Israel will be saved in her obedience to the Word of God in all these things just like the church, since there is one and only one plan of salvation depicted in the Feasts of the LORD Jesus.
The northern army will set off birth pangs in the church which will in turn produce the manchild as the remnant of her seed. This is the mountain where the stone was hewn out without hands and filled the whole earth. These Tabernaclists are the ones that keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. If you haven’t read the article on “The testimony of Jesus Christ”, I would certainly recommend it as it relates to the church coming unto the perfect measure of Jesus Christ, unto full maturity, unto the fullness of the measure of the stature of Jesus Christ, perfect in spirit, soul, and body. God uses the northern army as a catalyst in accomplishing his work in the church getting her off her lees and going on to perfection in the Feast of Tabernalces. The Feast of Tabernacles is also known as the Feast of Ingathering as God will gather all things in one, God tabernacles in the church forever. The northern army will then be removed by God and all things gathered together in one, in Jesus Christ. The northern army is the indignation of God against His people because of transgression; because of iniquity. Iniquity is not sin in the sense that sin is the transgression of the law, and iniquity is missing the mark of the law of the Spirit of life, the law of liberty, in not knowing and doing the present truth of the Word of God that is manifested light in the earthly realm. For example, take a look at the iniquity that God states that He will judge according to Isaiah.
It is not a sin to eat and drink, but it is iniquity when God has called for something to be done and the individual does something else instead. Iniquity is not doing what the Spirit of God would have us to do according to the light of Jesus Christ as truth that is currently shining in the earthly realm. If God desires the church to know the truth of these seven Feasts of the LORD, and we are stopping at Pentecost, thinking that the Pentecostal experience is all that there is to salvation, then we are in iniquity as concerning walking in the light as Jesus is in the light. The horsemen that John saw in the Revelation of Jesus Christ have the appearance of lions. “And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.” (Revelation 9:17). Joel saw these lions as the northern army in the days of the latter rain of the Holy Ghost when God will pour out of His Spirit. “For a nation is come up upon my land, strong, and without number, whose teeth are the teeth of a lion, and he hath the cheek teeth of a great lion. He hath laid my vine waste, and barked my fig tree: he hath made it clean bare, and cast it away; the branches thereof are made white.” (Joel 1:6,7). This is the army that will try the righteous and destroy the wicked. “The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth. Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.” (Psalms 11:6,7). The righteous shall stand in the day of the battle of the LORD, while the wicked will be destroyed out of the earth. Then shall we discern between the righteous and the wicked; and him that serveth God and his that serveth him not. (Malachi 3:18). Books can be written concerning the northern army and how God uses it in the last days. This ministry in proclaiming this Word to the churches that could receive this depth has seen some of this ministries greatest miracles when this Word was preached. I have had preachers walk out while preaching this Word, while other seasoned ministers have pulled me to the side after the service to admonish me not to quit preaching this perfection Gospel of Jesus Christ. One thing is for sure, those that love the Word, really love it; and those that hate it, really hate it. There is no middle of the road in this Word of perfection and glorification of the church in Jesus Christ, in gathering all things together in one. |
