"And how shall they preach, except they be sent?"  Romans 10:15a

Gematria means "word measuring" or "numerical value of words" as determined in both Greek and Hebrew. Some simply scoff at the idea of words having a numerical value adding light to the Great Mathematician of the universe, stating that it is mysticism. Others determine insight into the various revelation of Jesus Christ utilizing gematria realizing that God is also the Great Mathematician.

For example, Jesus in the Greek has the following gematria" Jesus = Iesous: I=10, e=8, s=200, o=70, u=400, s=200 for a total of 888. In determining current prophecy utilizing Jesus name in gematria, we will turn to the flood in the days of Noah in which 8 souls were saved by water. 8 is the number of new beginnings as refers to new creatures in Christ Jesus. As we turn to prophecy looking at the flood, there were four men who found safety in the ark as a covenant given to Noah; that is, Noah, Shem, Ham and Japheth. Of theses four, one was cursed for looking upon his father's nakedness which was Ham. Of the other three in relation to gematria, we discover the following: 

These three men came through the watery flood of destruction and lived...thus the first resurrection saints shall live also who are in Christ Jesus having the same 888 and will not be destroyed of the overflowing flood of fire in the last day judgment of God upon the world.

The saints of God are told to come out of Babylon and touch not the unclean thing...the thing is the things that Jesus said he would tell those who were in Him that did become at ease in Zion and settled on their lees. These things were revealed in the revelation of Jesus Christ given by John to us in these last days. We must have these "things" right in order to be righteous and upright...walking in the light as He is in the light, having fellowship one with another...the blood of Jesus cleansing us from all unrighteousness.

There were three men along with Daniel that faced the "7" times heated furnace of fire which speaks of the great tribulation in the last days that will come upon the earth...the great day that will burn as an oven heated "7" times over...the saints being thrown into the lion's den meeting Satan face to face in the hour of the great trial of our faith. These four men are Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah. Let's look at the gematria of these men when added together as the body comes together.

The certain saint in Daniel 8:13 known as the "revealer of secrets" or "the wonderful numberer" reveals that the saints of God will overcome in the last days that are in Christ Jesus having the same gematria as their Lord and Saviour. There are many wonderful truths in studying gematria and Bible numerics. This is only one example.
