"Also out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance; they had the likeness of a man." (Ezekiel 1:5).  "Four" is the number of creation and signifies the world. "Likeness" is from the Hebrew "demuwth" meaning "resemblance, shape, fashion". "Man" is "adam" meaning "a human being". "This is the living creature that I saw under the God of Israel by the river of Chebar; and I knew that they were the cherubim." (Ezekiel 10:20).

"And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind." (Revelation 4:6).  These are the same living creatures that we see in Ezekiel which had the likeness of a man. These living creatures or beasts are cherubim as mentioned above. In identifying the cherubim and their origin, there are three characteristics. 1) they are of the mercy seat (Exodus 25:19b) 2) they look toward the mercy seat one to another (Exodus 25:20b) 3) they are made of a beaten work of gold in in the two ends of the mercy seat. By deductive reasoning, the cherubim can only be the church as the bride of Christ which satisfy the three characteristics in the spirit. 1) church is members of his body, flesh of his flesh and bone of his bone (Ephesians 5:30) 2) church looks to Christ, the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2a) 3) Christ in the church is the hope of glory, Jesus in the church and the church in Jesus (Colossians 1:27).  The angelic hosts are not of, are not one with, and are not in Jesus Christ. "by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into." (1 Peter 1:12b).

The church will come to the fullness of glory in Christ Jesus in the last days fulfilling the Feasts of the Lord Jesus in Tabernacles as stated by the apostles and prophets and Psalms. "For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ." (Ephesians 4:12,13). The perfect man is none other than Jesus Christ who has been declared in four faces as in the four Gospels.

The four faces that the church will come unto in the glory of Jesus Christ is as follows:

JESUS Christ

man

lion

ox

eagle

Gospel of Luke

Gospel of Matthew

Gospel of Mark

Gospel of John

JESUS Christ as the

perfect man of Adam

JESUS Christ as the

KING OF KINGS

JESUS Christ as the

suffering servant

JESUS Christ as God that is

above all

Church will come to perfection through the work of JESUS

Kingdoms of this world become the kingdoms of the LORD

and of his Christ

Church will have gone through the time, times, and half; taking up our cross

Church will be the tabernacle of God and joint heirs with JESUS

In the midst of the church is the Son of man, the office of the Spirit of God designating the Kingdom of God. This is Jesus Christ in the midst of the church as the glorified Lamb of God that is revealed as the Lion.  Jesus Christ is seen in his office of judgment as depicted by his eyes as a flame of fire and feet like unto fine brass.

There is only One God who will give judgment to the saints. Jesus will reveal His glory in the church; for it is the church who will reveal his glory in the last days when He comes to be glorified in his saints. The kingdom of God will dominate the earth with the earth being full of the knowledge of the glory of the LORD Jesus. In that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one. JESUS is the name revealed in all four faces of the cherubim. The day is at hand, the night is far spent. "Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ." (1 Peter 1:13).
