The Lord Jesus
Christ is the object of all revelation and hope of eternal
life. Yet, few ministers agree as to the Godhead, Person, and
work of this only Messiah, the Christ. The prophet Isaiah
prophesied concerning the knowledge of the revelation of
Messiah. “For every battle of the warrior is with
confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this
shall be with burning and fuel of fire.” (Isaiah 9:5).
All of us are warriors in the battle of knowing the truth,
either for or against Christ. This battle is with confused
noise; noise from Babylon of confusion related wholly to the
acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of
Christ. Without controversy, at the present hour there is still
confusion in the body of Christ as to “Who is Christ?" Some
respond that it is just not for mankind to know, for some things
are believed to be only revealed in the hereafter, in “the sweet
by and by”.
